Why should I create an account?

What are the features?
MyCryptoAlert allows you to receive push notifications based on customized alerts you
set up for any of the 1000+ plus coins. These notifications will come directly to your mobile
devices, so you won’t miss an opportunity to buy or sell. Also, MyCryptoAlert allows you
to keep track of your crypto portfolio so you can see your gains and losses in one place.
The reports can be downloaded for your personal finances or tax needs.
Account
How to create an account?
Go to the menu under Account and press Register. Follow the steps and check your
email for confirmation your account was set up.
How do I delete my account?
Go to the menu under Account, select Deactivate. Once you have deactivated your
account you will lose your alert and portfolio history
How do I change information in my account?
Go to menu under Account, you can change your personal information from this tab.
Where do the exchange rates and coins prices come from? We directly use exchanges to
capture coin information. MyCryptoAlert has redundancy to make sure that up to date
information is always available.
Can I track my gains using USD or other currency?
You can pick from several currencies, go to the menu under Account, select preferences,
and you can change your currency selection.
How can I change my account currency?
Go to the menu under Account, select preferences, and you can change your
currency selection.
Alerts
I am not getting alerts, how do I report a problem?
Go to the Contact Us Page and email us and let us know what is wrong and we will get
back to you within 24 hours.
How can I change my alert frequency?
Go to the Alerts page and select either Immediate or Daily as your frequency.
I want to get new type of alert. Can it be added?
Yes, go to the Alerts page and you can set up new alerts for any of your favorite coins.
Portfolio
How do I manage my portfolio?
Go to Portfolio in the main menu to manage your coins.
Are portfolio coins pulled in from my wallets?
No, there is currently no API with the exchanges. You will need to input the information
from your wallets into MyPortfolio once and then MyCryptoAlert will be able to calculate
gains and losses from your purchase date and purchase amounts.
How do I enter new coins?
Go to the main menu under Portfolio and select add coin. Input the information about
your buy or sell transaction.
How do I remove coins?
Go to the main menu under Portfolio and press the x icon to delete the coins and
corresponding transactions.
How do I edit my portfolio?
Go to the main menu under Portfolio and press the pencil icon to edit and update the
coins and corresponding transactions.
How do I generate my Gain/Loss report?
Go to the main menu under Portfolio and select Reporting.
Can I export the data to other systems?
Currently, MyCryptoAlert does not have functionality to export data info other financial
reporting systems. The report can be downloaded in .xls, .csv, and .pdf.
My coin price/value does not seem correct, can I edit it?
Yes, when you add a coin, it will pull today’s price, that price can be modified at any time.
Can I use the gain/loss report when I self-report taxes?
Speak with your tax professional to confirm that report has the information he/she needs
for self-reporting taxes.
Coins
I don’t see my coin in the list. Can I add it?
Yes, you can add any of the 1000+ coins by adding a coin to your favorites.
Can I sort by my coins by volume?
Yes, use the arrow at the top of the matrix under volume to sort.
How do I show my coins on the top of the list?
If you click the heart icon, your coins will then be considered your Favorite, and will
automatically be on top of your list.
How frequently are coin prices are updated?
Pricing for the coins are updated every 5 seconds.
